HR-Structures has constructed a temporary lecture hall building for a public education institution. While a major construction project by a state construction company is being carried out the building is being used to host lectures, run courses and for other events.
The building is 20m x 40m hall with 3.5m wall height to accommodate students and lecturers. It is constructed around our proven aluminium support framework with the roof, walls and floor meeting the requirements of the Building Energy Act for new buildings.
It was important that a high level of safety, access and comfort was provided. Consequently, the building development included the following:
- Entrance doors with ramps and railings for easy access for all
- Two partition walls and electric roller doors for room separation
- Insulated flooring system with raised platform and robust carpeting
- Cable routing in the floor with sockets supplying 230V power and IT connections
- Energy-efficient LED lighting
- Outdoor lighting
- Lightning protection
- Windows around the whole building
- Molton cotton fabric wall covering to reduce noise in the building
- Air conditioning split towers for air conditioning and heating
- WiFi access points for access by up to 300 people
- Bathroom facilities
We carried out all approval planning, structural analysis, assembly and installation of the new education building. HR-Structures also delivered the finished building with all toilet facilities, electrical, heating, and air conditioning in place.
The hall is now in daily use for a wide range of training and events. It perfectly illustrates how our aluminium framed temporary buildings can be tailored to the specific requirements of multiple educational, industrial, commercial and retail industry uses.
